in addition to your downloaded printout, you will need a few other items to complete your project. these include a green plastic bendy drinking straw (for the stem), scissors, glue stick, sticky tape and pens, pencils etc for your little one to use to decorate the flower parts. and if you want to add the gift tag a hole punch and a piece of wool or ribbon wil come in handy! |
 |
 |
to assemble your flower, first wrap the green 'fringed' part round the end of the bendy straw, you may wish to shorten the length of the straw, and fix with sticky tape aswell as glue. |
next attached the fringed parts to the back of the flower petals. |

ahh, your cute flower is constructed! if you can bear to part with him and want to give as a gift, don't forget to write out your gift tag! a hole punch is a great way to make a hole at the top for a loop of ribbon/wool/string etc. then tie your tag to your flower and get your little one to give to the lucky recepient! i hope it brings a cute smile to their face! |
then take your chosen face for the flower and stick in the centre of the petals. |
apply glue all over the back of one leaf pieces, then match up with the other leaf piece and sandwich the straw in the centre section. |
